KYC of NYC: Third Edition
A lively discussion on utilities & strategies to improve KYC effectiveness
For the third time, Synpulse USA facilitated its Executive Peer Roundtable for KYC/ALM subject matter experts in New York. A high caliber audience had the chance to grasp first hand intel from two key note speakers, followed by an engaging discussion that persisted until late evening.
Last Thursday evening, at midtown’s Capital Grill, roughly 20 senior executives from an investment and private banking background, gathered for the third time to exchange on KYC best practices and strategies. After the introduction, the first key note speaker Pierre Villenave, of LGO Markets, a cryptocurrency exchange for institutional investors showcased how KYC and crypto assets will integrate in the future. Being tech savvy and engaged, the audience immediately got into a lively discussion. In the second half of the official presentation, Andrew McAdams, a senior Financial Crime specialist from a Agricultural Bank of China, shared best practices and latest developments in the area of KYC utilization and utility strategies.
Even after the main course and desserts were long gone, the table was still completely full, with participants engaged in thoughtful and entertaining discussions well into the night.
Synpulse is proud to be a facilitator for the KYC executive network in New York. With engaged and thoughtful contributors like last Thursday, our platform comes to life even more and is a thought-after meeting point in the complex and opinion-rich world we are in.
The next KYC of NYC will take place on November 8th 2018.
