Synpulse, is pleased to announce the promotion of Thomas Schaffner to Managing Partner, while also appointing Prasanna Venkatesan to Senior Partner. In his new role, Thomas Schaffner will join Synpulse’s senior leadership team alongside the firm’s four existing Managing Partners: Konrad Niggli, Yves Roesti, Silvan Stüssi, and Salomon Wettstein.

A Swiss native, Thomas Schaffner has been part of Synpulse for nearly 20 years, making significant contributions to the company’s development throughout his career. In recent years, as Head of Synpulse UK, he spearheaded the growth of the UK market, with the local team expanding rapidly under his leadership. Since January 2024, he has been leading Synpulse’s Swiss office while also holding global responsibility for the Banking Industry division.

Schaffner has successfully led numerous large-scale transformation projects for core banking platforms, supporting banks across Europe in designing efficient operating models, sourcing strategies, and process frameworks. Additionally, he has been a key driver of digital transformation within the industry, defining digital strategies and ecosystems and overseeing their subsequent implementation.
